Works, doesn't last as long as OEM
I think this really depends on how your water is, but I have horrendously hard water and this filter lasted me a week before the mineral deposits made the water not wick above the water line. The honeywell one lasted me 3 weeks (and was still an inch above the water line meaning it still humidified, just badly), so at double the price OEM was still better value for money.Quality wise, it seemed good enough. Side by side (see picture), the size and thickness are exactly the same as OEM so it's easy to install but the density of paper is probably 1/3 less.
- Tips For Daily Use - For best results, flip your compatible Honeywell humidifier T filter daily and only fill humidifier tank with distilled water (this applies to all brands of filters). Hard water degrades ALL compatible Honeywell humidifier filters and yellows them prematurely
- The filters do not fit completely in the filter compartment
