We traditionally buy Nike shoes for our kids and this is the second UA kids shoe we've bought. UA shoes are truer to size than Nike shoes, which tend to run small. We compared these UA shoes to the same size at Nike and they are slightly longer. Nike shoes have a quality advantage. Children's shoes are generally not worn long enough to become rough as they outgrow them quickly. UA shoes tend to scuff paint from the front of the toe. Never had problems like this with Nike. The outsole is also softer and tends to wear out quicker on the UA. Overall this is a good shoe that is only slightly inferior in quality compared to Nike.
