Review on Purebites Mixers: Wild Skipjack Tuna & Wild Alaskan Salmon in Water for Cats - 1.76 Oz. / 50 G (Case of 12) by Born Bowman

Healthy and cat loves it - not AAFCO certified :(

Over the past few weeks I have bought twenty to thirty different types and flavors of cat food in hopes of eventually weaning my cat off the high carb kibble ..literally the only one she has licked and she seems really enjoying it.Since she was older I have been hoping to put my cat on a leaner diet with little or no carbs.Today cat food is grain free, very few are carb free Cats obviously don't eat a lot of carbs compared to the amount of protein they eat and older cats with a slower metabolism aren't very good at burning high calorie carbs. My cat has already gained weight so I'm very glad that this food is grain and carbohydrate free, high in protein and water to keeping my cat healthy even as it ages.E The only downside is that they literally only contain meat and water and no other healthy cat food. This would be the only cat food I buy if it was AAFCO certified to fully meet a cat's nutritional needs. In the meantime I feed my cat this and her regular dry food to try to give her the best of both worlds. She won't eat anything else.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
