Disappointed in best hair care

I feel like I wasted $10. Not sure why this is rated so highly. I showered, combed my hair, squeezed out excess water and placed my hair on a towel as directed in the instructions. I take it off after 40 minutes and expect dry hair. My hair was still wet. When he finally dried my hair, which was never frizzy, it was frizzy for the rest of the day with some bits sticking out on the side. Disappointing.
