My MY is 3 weeks old and I've already noticed a few scratches on the original finish. I just installed this center console kit and it fits perfectly. The section above the cup holders is easy to level, so I did that first. The center section is the most difficult to true as there is more play on the side as there is with the OEM part. I walked slowly and it looked good to me. It seems very secure, but having just installed it I can't yet comment on how it will hold up and look over time.
