Having just realized I need reading glasses, I've tried dozens of OTC purchases, none of which turned out to be winner turned out. I have another Foster & Grant model that I like but it's (obviously) no longer made. I stumbled across these and hesitated as they are slightly more expensive than the previous model. Well, once you got it, the little extra dollar was worth it. The quality of these is much higher than any others I've tried, including the Lucille model I was interested in. They are stronger and the lens is more scratch resistant. With two toddlers, I often suddenly have my glasses ripped off my face and inevitably fall to the ground (face down) before I know what has happened. So far they are holding up better than expected.
