Just installed this in my new bathroom upgrade from Fogartyhome. The mirror is very well made and beautiful. The light is bright and can be dimmed with a long press of the button. Whatever dimming setting you use when you turn it off is the setting you use to turn it on. I wouldn't use it as the only light in the bathroom at night, but it's a very large bright night light of the highest caliber with no other light. The light is not warm soft temperature. It's around 4000K. It's a good compromise between 2500K/3000K yellow candlelight temperatures and 5000K/6000KI very bright blue-white light. The fog lamp wasn't used yet, but I felt the mirror warm up when I touched the button. The touch buttons are located in the center of the mirror. I didn't connect it to the light switch because the other lights were set up in my bathroom, but you can connect it to the switch if you like. I use touch buttons to turn it on and off. The connector is in the center of the back panel. That would be my only criticism of this mirror at the moment. I had an electrician install the box and my contractor, Fogartyhome, did the wiring for me. To connect the wiring, it would make sense to have a longer wire at the back. At the moment, since it is ready to use, I recommend this product!
