Suitable for most situations
The house was bought with a TV mount in the bedroom but the seller brought a mounting plate. So I bought this and used it to attach the TV to the plate and the plate to the mounting receiver. I had to use standard screws, but luckily the local hardware store sells them individually in bulk. It only took 2 trips and the hardest part was holding the TV in place by inserting the screws. All in all a very durable product.
