Easy to hold, baby eats well. However, I find the handle a bit too heavy and they often fall out of the bowls, but they wouldn't be as easy to hold if the handles weren't as thick as they are. The reason for 4 stars is because I think they are too heat sensitive. As with most children's products for temporary protection. It just annoys me a bit and makes the hot safe part a bit useless since I'm checking the food every time no matter what the temp the spoon says. And with that said, I'd probably check the food with or without those spoons every time, just like you would with a bottle, which means the hot-safe feature is a little moot at first. In general, however, they are very nice little spoons.
