Works as described making it easier to place the camera in the right spot BUT the size makes the camera stand out and more visible if you want it to be less visible to intruders. Also, just yesterday I discovered that a solid back cover STRONGLY blocks the SIREN, SIGNAL AND SPEAKER. They had to drill holes in the back and cover them with thin cellophane wrap or something to protect them from the weather. Looking at the case now to find a solution I will try to drill some small holes in the back but the metal piece to mount it and the plastic connector is exactly where the siren/speaker is on the already weatherproof camera is located. It might be better to spend the extra time aligning an already weatherproof camera without these mounts or just using non-cased mounts.
