I had 2 pairs of these socks, the first black pair lasted for many diving trips and is just beginning to fall apart from that, how much they wear down during a dive, which is great. My rating would have been higher but the 2nd pair I bought were blue and they came undone at the seams after 1 day so it was a total loss and I was already on a trip when it was too late to to get a new pair them under my boots no matter how stupid it is to put on socks to dive without which I never part again. First, they make putting on a wetsuit a lot easier, feet slip right through. Second, they act as a barrier between the skin and the boot, no matter how comfortable the boot is, after a week of diving I've always had blisters until I put on my dive socks.
