Too narrow for a standard board unless you want to forego padding.

It would be better if the ironing board had no underlay, but who wants to iron on surfaces without an underlay? It had good elastic but it was hard to get on the board as it had to be bigger to get through the pad. I had to glue the pad and then lean it against the wall and it took 30 minutes or more to put it on.
