This balm feels a bit hard when applied, like it has dried wax in it. After 2 hours I find a waxy substance at the corners of my mouth. I can't say the smell or taste lasts more than a minute. Maybe I have an old container? My grandchildren didn't like it as much as what I usually buy. Too dry. It will do the trick, but I don't mind paying a little more for a different balm.
