doesn't look like an APPLE cover, although I thought it was. If you look closely you can see that it has 2 grooves instead of 3, making it difficult (slippery) to hold for someone with small hands like me. Maybe the material was less tactile. To my surprise, the back was clean and slippery. I liked seeing the back of my iPad because it has a monogram on it. Another complaint I have is the nicks in the corners where the back meets the front, because the rough plastic corners get hard on my fingers after a while. Apparently I keep my iPad in this place a lot. On the other hand it was very nice and my granddaughter oohs and aahs for it. Not a bad option for the price.
