Review on Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH20 14 by Sierra Moore

On my birthday, a bottle of hand sanitizer in my purse opened up and destroyed my Canon Powershot. I was devastated. So I set out in search of my next trusty point-and-shoot bag companion. I did a lot of research and read reviews about image quality, price, video, latency, etc. on many brands. After much deliberation and without having seen it in person, I decided to trust the many who love this camera. I took the plunge and bought it from Revain. Since then I've been secretly hoping to accidentally break or lose it, so I have a good excuse to buy another camera. Background: I am the mother of a very energetic and often naughty toddler, artist, aspiring designer and blogger and photography fanatic. I used my Canon every day. Now I hardly ever take pictures because I seriously hate this thing. I feel like it wastes my time, composition and creativity. Let's just say the camera and I are not on the same team. Therefore: Because of the delay, I stand without a picture in the dust of my child; The quality of the photos (colour, focus, sharpness) is nothing compared to the quality of my old Canon - I often try to digitally enhance my photos to compensate for the poor quality - things that would not have been a problem with my previous camera. As mentioned, white balance requires too much effort and tweaking to get it right; and I hate the fact that I can't zoom in or lock and focus on my subject when I'm recording a video. Lumix, I opened my heart to you and trusted you. (especially since you were purple and pretty). unfortunately you were a complete and utter disappointment. waste of money and time. And now back to my true love, Canon, here I go.
