If you live or visit the midwest in the winter you will no doubt hear someone comment about the wind. "It's not too bad out but that wind"! Which brings me to this jacket. I bought to throw on to let the pups off the deck into the yard and I have to say this jacket was warmer than I anticipated. No it's no replacement for frigid temps, but does well in short increments outdoors or fall like weather. It's also super soft which is a plus! Overall I would say the jacket fits as expected or true to size. I did size up to accommodate for bulky items underneath, but I typically do that with colder weather gear.
