Review on Semogue Excelsior 830 Shaving Brush by Nick Bigalow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is one of the best. I have six Semogue brushes and about .

I use brushes and prefer boar brushes. This is one of the best. I have six Semogue brushes and about the same number of Omega boar brushes. I love them both but there are differences. Omegas are not as prone to opening or shedding their stubble as salmon. I prefer it a little. However, the semogues produce an incredible lather when rolled up. The Semogue 830 is no exception. It has a nice heavy firm feel and nice soft bristles that are hard enough to create great lather and are nice on the face too. All Semogues have good, strong handles. Unlike the Omega, where cheaper models often have hollow plastic grips. I highly recommend any Semogue brush. They are very well made, don't lose a lot of bristles, have excellent lathering ability and will last forever if handled properly.
