Review on Nexenta Storage Solutions by Eugene Cox

I don't dislike anything about it; it has been great so far since we switched over to our new NAS. It was hard to get used to as they have changed some things from how it had worked in the past but once i got everything figured out its been very stable. We were having issues with space being taken up or running low at times and that is where this helped us solve those problems. For us one of the biggest improvements we realized was increased speed and reliability of data access especially during file transfers for clients. I like that it is easy to use as well has some nice features such at deduplication so you can save space quickly without having issues with corruption of data or not being able identify what files are duplicated which makes for quick recoveries when needed! We have had no problems in using this software but if there were any improvements they could make would be more granular control over folders/files instead off just one file extension type (ex -.txt).
