Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Table-Mate XL TV Tray - Convenient and Compact Foldable Table Trays for Dining, Workstation, and Sofa - Sleek Silver Design by Toni Lewis

UNSTABLE CONSTRUCTION on folding tables and chairs

Unfortunately, I'm not happy with the Table Mate XL. I've had a Table-Mate II for over 10 years now. I generally like the product. It is far superior to the new XL.1. The oversized XL table is great, but you sacrificed the stability of the entire table for the size of the tray. The XL wobbles and wobbles uncomfortably. I suggest some kind of crossbar on the legs.2. Unlike my Table II, the support bar under the table top DOES NOT "CLOSE" under the tray (my Table II "locks" when tight). The rod installs in a groove that is held in place only by gravity. If you accidentally touch the table in a certain way, it will collapse. It happens! i did this VERY DISAPPOINTED. A NOTICE. I don't know if the "current" version of Table-Mate II has the same design as mine. ****************UPDATE** ******* ********* I have been contacted by the support team regarding POINT 2 above. They thought I received a "defective" table and asked if they could send another one. I got a new table and it's MUCH BETTER. I can feel the support bar for the new countertop "snapping" into the bracket under the molded countertop. Much MORE RELIABLE than my previous XL batch. THANK YOU FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM Everything works fine. Note 1 Still valid. See other rankings.
