It only came 2 days ago, but it's almost gone! I've never seen him dig with such enthusiasm before he got sick! A little over a year ago, our Leo fell ill with a kind of sinus infection. Sneezing and snoring like crazy. The vets said there was little they could do other than antihistamines. He started losing weight. When we were concerned and took him back to the vet, they confirmed that he had lost a few pounds in just 4 months (maybe good for humans but very worrying for small animals). They said he probably couldn't smell food and gave him more injections of antihistamines. With the help of canned food, we managed to stop the weight loss, but he didn't gain much. We often tried new things to find out what he would eat. When we tried the special cat pouches of meat in gravy, he started eating in reasonable amounts and gained weight, although it was painfully slow, and he only gained weight again. Last week, however, when it was time to eat more, all supplies ran out! Even Revain had limited availability. So why not try? It's nice to support a lesser known company and it would be nice to have a different source. Lol I'm not sure if he'll eat anything after that reaction. He swallowed the first packet like it was air and he was going to drown. Put a paw on the plate for him to hold still while he licked every crumb and then started meowing for more! Hopefully the next order gets here as soon as the first one, otherwise I get accusatory looks when we have to go back to the old stuff (which FINALLY arrived today). I think I've found the secret to getting Mr. Lovebug back to a healthy weight! Leo gives 5 stars!
