I washed the duvet shortly after I received it. The pillow was very lumpy when wet and based on my previous pillow washing experience I thought the baby blanket was about to be thrown away but once dried the pillow puffed up again. My little girl loves Peppa so she immediately went to the covers to help her fall asleep. She can pick it up and even roll it out on her own, so it's definitely a lightweight blanket. The only downside with velcro is that the crunchy part on the mat will destroy the comforter when unrolled for use. We have another baby sleeping bag with soft velcro on the top and crunchy velcro on the bottom, which should have been the case with this one. The lack of design damages it quickly, so I don't expect Peppa to last long. I won't buy any other.
