Light and airy. I'm 5 feet 4 inches and 135 pounds. I ordered a large one. The fit is very comfortable, enough room under the arms without opening or showing the bra. It also has a lining, which surprised me. I was expecting the fabric to be woven cotton (like a seersucker) so was a little disappointed that the fabric is more of a knitted fabric and wrinkled so may need some ironing. It is worn over the head without a zipper. I would recommend this dress for a cute summer option or even as a beach cover up.
