I bought this for my son because he wanted to upgrade his tech setup and has always liked backlit keyboards, I also just bought him a rainbow LED mouse. It took him a while to get used to the key layout (the lack of number keys on the right confused him, and one of the keys is larger than on his old keyboard), but once he got used to it, he fell in love with it . He used it for gaming, and even with all the abuse he poured out, it held up just as well (if not better) than the keyboards he'd used before.
