I love this product more than any other eyebrow color I have tried. I'm redheaded and my eyebrows (and lashes) are so light they're almost transparent. I don't like the look I get with a pencil and it takes way longer than I want to spend on my eyebrows. Finding a natural looking shade is very difficult and even another Godefroy dye (powder capsules) will not work. This product makes it perfect. However, this perfection is not achieved by following the directions on the packaging. Through trial and error, I found that I had to thoroughly coat each hair with product (both steps) to get the color to come out solid (rather than blotchy). Also, I leave each step on my brows for 15-20 minutes, otherwise I have to go back and repeat the 1-2 minute processes over and over again. Now that I've finished my first sentence, I've moved on to science, so it really doesn't matter. The only thing I want to warn about is that it gets very dark the day after application (first photo). That morning I thought my brows looked pretty good, but by midday they (or rather the skin underneath) were so dark they looked ridiculous. So if you have somewhere to go and like me you have very fair skin, I plan to get your brows done over the weekend so they look good on the Monday or 3-4 days before a special event. When the discoloration of the skin is over, the color is just beautiful. The second photo is about 10 days after application. They seem to go away as the brow hairs grow, so after a few weeks I'll apply them with a pencil until there are enough sprouts to recolor. But it cuts my makeup time significantly and, perhaps most importantly, doesn't irritate my skin. I'm a lucky tourist!
