Bought tripod/selfie stick, my cell phone fits but without a case I bought this cell phone holder for this reason, wanted to protect my cell phone better, know my cell phone with The case fits, I have an iPhone 7 plus. Also order this item because there are two mounts. I will be giving the extra mount to my brother who has an android phone with a huge case that fits as it is adjustable. So if you have a big phone, this thing will help. Another thing I notice about the mount is that it has two mounting holes (first picture) so you can place the phone on different sides. If you unscrew the handle, you have another photo option.
