I needed a stand for my new iPad Air 4 that doesn't use clips (due to the magnetic attachment of the Apple Pencil at the top) and this cradle-style stand fit the bill. This is a very well built stand, the parts are well made, smooth finish and fit together well. It assembles in seconds, just one large screw to attach the stem to the base and you're done. The base is weighted and the stem is offset to keep your device stable. My iPad fits easily in the stand and I just hang the case.” Cover the back of the stand instead of adding it to the stand. It also helps prevent the iPad from falling forward if I bump it. The photo shows this. This is the tallest stand available with a maximum of 17 inches. So if you're standing at your desk or need it while working in the kitchen, it's great! I recommend it!
