I purchased the jacket and sweater offered on this product page. My dog is a pit bull mix, about 45 pounds. Its lower neck is about 19 inches long, from the bottom of its neck to its tail it measures 20 inches, and the widest part of its chest measures 27 inches. We couldn't get any of them to work for us. First I bought a medium sized jacket based on the manufacturer's size chart. It was very tight around the neck; his collar was under the collar of his jacket. This could be remedied by turning on the zip feature like a sweater. The medium-sized jacket was also very short; When my dog leaned forward, the fur stood up, exposing her entire back. He reminded me of a blue and orange cockroach. It nestled snugly against his chest. This garment does not stretch. So I decide to order a big jacket and a big sweater for now. A large jacket of a comfortable length, long enough to cover the tip of his tail and stays down while he sniffs the ground. Fits his neck. However, he is very loose in the chest and leaves a lot of skin exposed around his shoulders/armpits/chest. See photo. The fasteners were as strong as possible, but at the same time reliable. The sweater is one size larger than the jacket. The oversized sweater was ridiculously large for my dog and he would definitely need a medium size. I will try as soon as the medium is available in the color we prefer. It's pretty elastic. I'll probably keep the big jacket to make some changes: add shoulder darts for better fit/more skin coverage; we remove the jacket along the spine so that it is not so baggy. slightly shorten the part that runs down the middle of his chest. The colors are great, the jacket isn't too heavy and I love the layering option. It's easy to put on and take off and the linen portal is perfect for his harness.
