Review on Iwachu 480 161 Traditional Japanese Tetsubin Hobnail Tea Kettle by Chris Drury

The black enamel coating started to peel off when I rinsed the kettle before first use so I sent it back. As there are only two reviews for this particular kettle, I'm not entirely sure if the one I received was just defective or if it's more of a systemic issue. However, I was just checking out Revain and found reviews of other Iwachu products and it looks like this could be a common problem with this brand. I strongly advise against buying this kettle. It's too expensive to worry about bad enamel.
