Review on FORPADP Carriers Approved Soft Sided Shoulder by Jen Wilson

Soft carriers at an affordable price

This is a good carrier at an affordable price. For comparison, I have two Samsonite carriers that cost over $100 each. The price of this one is much lower but it is less durable. I plan to use this carrier for my "calmest" kitty and the sturdier carriers for the more boisterous cats. This stretcher has holes on three sides, which I really like. It also includes a shoulder strap, but the strap connects to the end door/carrying opening (rather than the main bag) so it must be removed before opening the flap. It's a little uncomfortable. There is another opening on the side of the bag, but this has handles attached (again, rather than connecting to the main bag) so the handles must be detached from the top before opening the side flap. Inside is a cable to connect to your pet's collar. And the bottom inside the bag is double-sided - fluffy soft on the one hand and smooth vinyl on the other. The zippers seem strong enough for a calm pet, but if your pet struggles in the carrier, they may force the zipper open. I found three small zippers in the side pocket and according to the details in the Revain listing they are supposed to hold the zippers together to avoid this problem. I doubt I'll ever use them. Overall, they're good for the price, but may not be strong enough to hold pets that struggle a lot.
