Read (OK, view) the instructions and take your time

I am really very impressed with the thoughtfulness of the instructions and packaging for this stand. The instructions are mostly in the form of drawings but the drawings are really all you need apart from very clear descriptions of the exact screws to be used for each assembly step. In addition, various screws are packaged in a strip bag where each individual size is clearly marked and labeled for easy assembly. A dual-purpose hex/Phillips screwdriver and small open-end wrench are included for assembly, eliminating the need for additional tools. necessary, but a regular Phillips screwdriver will speed up assembly. I first assembled the stand myself, then took everything to the living room, where the kit is (more precisely, what happens on it) and carefully followed the instructions for installing the kit on the stand, removing the standard stand from the shelf . Furnished. Having enough space to work is very important as you don't want to bang the set and this makes assembly a lot easier. When I first hung the TV on the stand it was only a fraction of an inch from the base so I first adjusted the brackets on the TV a notch down and then the arm on the base a notch up and that was it Well. . There's an almost infinite number of adjustment combinations you can make in between, so fine-tuning the height shouldn't be a problem. The screw kit includes an assortment to fit almost any VESA mounting hole kit and the mounting brackets are long enough to fit almost any kit. I like how the VESA mounts screw to the back of the unit first so the unit and brackets can be easily hung on the stand and centered before tightening the two screws on the bottom of the brackets to keep the unit from falling off the side slips . laterally or detach from the base during movement. The only minor issue I had (almost) was with the rubber leg stick for the glass base. You must be very careful when removing them from the paper backing they are placed on, otherwise a thin layer of glue will remain on the paper backing and not the rubber foot. As I said at the beginning, take your time. you have been warned So to sum up this is a very good solid stand and the swivel function (40 degrees in either direction from centre) makes it very easy to plug in and view from any angle. Honestly it would be nice if TV manufacturers included a stand like this in their kits rather than the frills they supply which may not fit where you plan to put your TV (one of my issues). .
