I've experimented with two other products - Mohu and Clearstream 4 - and 1byOne is by far the best option at less than half the cost of the others. I also had concerns that the plastic antennas would survive our harsh summer as they are mostly metal. Elegantly constructed, strong yet lightweight, the device assembles in minutes with 6 simple drawings - no confusing instructions. There are even locking rings on the ends of the bolts to keep the wing nuts from loosening. Good details! On a 16 foot pole I instantly pulled 18 channels including 2 main channels that are 60 miles away. With the addition of a $10 WalMart signal booster installed in my cable box BEFORE the splitter, I got 6 more channels, including a sports station 80 miles away. All my TV sockets receive crystal clear and stable programs, even 100 feet from the box. Don't waste your time on anything else. Try it!
