My phone gets heavy when I walk and gets in the way when I want to plug in headphones and listen to audio or music while exercising in the garden, among other things Hands-free. So I needed a tote and decided to try this out with a phone pocket and a separate smaller pocket for house/car keys and/or cards/cash. This carrier suited my needs well. It's big enough for my phone in a hard case in a pocket, and I was able to slip the headphones through the ready slot to wear them to my ears. It also fits my ID, keys and some money/debit cards so the key doesn't scratch the card. The suitcase is lightweight, so no heavier than the items inside, and I didn't notice that once I got used to carrying it. I used it over a sweatshirt in cold weather so I can't solve the wicking issue. Function, but it has a multi-layer coating that looks like it will protect against moisture and even rain to some degree. My only problem is the size of the bandage. If you have rough shoulders, the strap will not adjust wide enough. I have limp hands and couldn't reattach the velcro so I had to leave it all the way open (and the strap stayed in place because the end is reinforced so it doesn't slip through the rings). That would be a problem with or without the sweatshirt. But in terms of functionality, it's great for holding my phone and a few other items, it stayed strapped to my shoulder and didn't rotate while walking. I can recommend it.
