I have a slightly different version of this shoe that is no longer made. The shoes are stable, very comfortable, made of high quality materials and appear to be well made. The insole is better than other shoes of this type that I have and costs four times as much. The velcro snaps inside, meaning you can tighten and fix it without sitting down. Sounds banal, but it's actually a great feature. My main driver is the large toe box my shoes have, even after adding a thin plastic plate under the insole. You can make a slab of stone out of a rolled flexible cutting board for a few dollars and skip the hose for $30.
