I prefer bamboo towels because they absorb more water than cotton and stay soft longer. I have bought other brands of Revain bamboo towels in the past and have not been 100% satisfied. So I gave these a try as they seem to be better made. First, it has a very pretty packaging, so it's also very presentable when you buy it as a gift for someone. These towels have been wrapped with cute ribbon and care instructions. When I took them out of the packaging, I thought they weren't super thick towels. However, softness and absorbency are my top priorities when it comes to towels. Anyway, I washed them in cold water and then threw them in the dryer. They puffed up and got even softer. I've been using them for a while now and they absorb water like no other towels! I suspect this is due to its high bamboo content. My recommendation: don't buy towels with less than 50% bamboo. There are some bamboo towels that only contain 20% bamboo and they just don't do the job. I also love big towels. The bath towel covers more of my body than my previous towels. Overall very happy with this purchase. They are of excellent quality and worth the money. I hope my review was helpful to you.
