Nice bag but the plastic clips seem to break easily

I've been wearing this bag for about 7 months and I live with it. The only issue is that one of the plastic clips holding the bottom cover has broken and become sharp, scratching my wrists when typing and using the touchpad. I don't know when or how it broke as my laptop sits on my desk most of the time.
