I am VERY satisfied. The thing is great, well equipped and sounds great! Let me reiterate that - as a music lover, I give two thumbs up. I spent months shopping, reading reviews, going to stores to test out the sound and finally stumbled upon the Edifier brand. Multimedia speakers from the 80s! I had the setup because, typical of most budget 2.1 systems, the Altec had great bass and very good highs, but the lack of a separate midrange made it flat and lacked depth. Conversely, Apple Antiques had two 2-inch drivers that were great for mids but little bass or treble. This Edifier system successfully replaces all that bulky, messy, outdated hardware in a sleek, modern package that really delivers sound quality. Exceptional sound, Bluetooth and standard audio connections, excellent value for money Cons: The controls determine the placement of the subwoofer unit. Power, volume and input controls are located on top of the subwoofer (and are almost invisible as they are black on black). ) and on the wireless remote control (also black on black). To be useful, the subwoofer needs to be positioned where you can reach it to press the buttons, or where the remote control can see it "in sight". I keep mine in the legroom of my computer desk, which makes the remote only useful when I point it between my legs - I can't use it anywhere else in the room. However, the thing looks so good that you might want to show the sub anyway. Too bad the base of the remote control isn't flat. It has an edge that's comfortable to hold, but if you want to just lay it down on a surface, reach out and press the buttons, it wobbles and sloshes. You MUST take it.
