I have a 27 inch Alienware 2721D monitor and the massive stand it came with held the monitor too close to my face. I was afraid it wouldn't fit under the cabinet above my desk, but it's only about 16.5 inches and fits great. However, with my 27" monitor installed, I was only able to use the bottom two heights of the stand. It's okay, but about an inch lower would be perfect. As you can see in my before and after photos, this stand gave me about three inches more clearance from my monitor than the stand that came with my Alienware monitor. While it's certainly not a solid build, the simple display is worth it. Monitor at just the right angle. Even though my monitor only weighs about 14 pounds, one screw seems to be tight and I'm concerned that it could break and my monitor could fall (or fall!). what makes it more important. I can't imagine it being able to hold a 77lb device as advertised and I certainly wouldn't trust it with any device of that weight. Overall, the black glass base is aesthetically fantastic, and the rest of the stand is decent. but could use improvements in binding strength and additional height adjustment. One idea would be to add a second set of height adjusters to the back of the vertical stand and fold it to that side depending on the customer's screen size.
