Wow, I didn't expect it to be so warm. I got them because I need durability that I can count on. They are perfect as a replacement for mittens. They can be as warm as decent mittens. Another surprise is that they dry quickly inside. On a hike yesterday my hands got wet a couple of times during the hike taking them off and doing some chores when it was snowing. Even though my wet hands were put in it several times, my hands dried out and stayed warm. Went hiking with friends again today. The temperature dropped to 15°F, there was no wind. My hands were always warm and never sweaty. HOWEVER, I had cold hands at the beginning of every hike. After about 10 minutes my body was warmed up, as were my hands for the rest of the hike, although the temperature dropped about 25-15°. TIP: Before you say a pair of gloves isn't warm, warm up your body.
