I've been thinking about getting this blanket for a while after spending a lot of time and research looking at so many different blankets because I'm so neurotic. The biggest benefit for me is that this reputable company has been around for almost 20 years and if it becomes my daughter's lifelong love (because I'm still sleeping with mine and I'm 33) I'll lose her one day or I'll need one Replacement, hopefully I could still buy the same one from this company. I received the classic chenille in silver and as soon as it arrived I washed it according to the instructions and put it in my 17 month old daughter's crib for a nap. She immediately snuggled into him and fell fast asleep. Now she sleeps with him curled up every time, and even when we go to sleep and she's tired, she climbs into her crib and pulls back the covers to signal that she's ready for bed. This is the softest, most luxurious baby blanket and worth every penny. It's too good!
