are beautiful and well-made mugs with a double wall. very modern style. comes well packaged in a sturdy beautiful box; great for gifts. I mainly use them for espresso. The area where the inner diameter tapers is great for holding a thick crema, and also for Turkish coffee and tea, it helps keep anything on the bottom (spices, coffee grounds, etc.) in the cup as you drink. As another reviewer said, it can be easy to burn your tongue because the mug's exterior coolness belies how hot its contents can be, but it's also an indication of how well the double-walled design insulates. not negative, but keep it in mind until it becomes a habit. I like them better than my usual double wall espresso cups which are very wide at the mouth, like an inverted bell shape. There is much less exposed surface area on top of your drink so it stays hotter longer and there is no comparison to Turkish coffee in that this design is optimized to keep coffee grounds in the cup.
