They are very shiny and absolutely adorable - for children and adults alike. Got these for my granddaughters (ages 4, 10) they love them. The "Huggie" style makes them perfect for those who don't normally wear earrings but would like to wear something other than studs. They are quite comfortable for sleeping. I wore them for a few days and found them very light (no sagging, drooping earlobes), comfortable and didn't even notice after long phone calls. There were a couple of times when they "tried" to snap in a little securely and comfortably. I simply followed the instructions on the Revain product page. These earrings can be a good gift or treat yourself. **OPTIONAL: Sterling Silver will oxidize to a greenish brown. To keep your earrings shiny and beautiful, simply wipe them with a silver cleaning cloth. Or put some toothpaste on a handkerchief, polish, rinse, shake and dry.
