We are really excited about this skirt! My 7 year old daughter has several ballet lessons a week and has several ballet skirts from major dance brands. This skirt appears to be more durable than her others, which appear to be thinner. This skirt holds up well while she dances. Her skirt is light blue. I am thrilled that Best Buy is bringing out a range of well tailored dancewear at reasonable prices as my daughter always outgrows her dancewear. We both love the look of the lavender skirt so I know I'll order that and a swimsuit for her now that we know how well made that skirt is. It will also make a great skirt for a young dancer where durability is so important. Dancewear tends to run small, so size up if you're unfamiliar with dance sizing. If you have ballet skirts I would say they fit just as well as the big dance brands.
