I am very pleased to be able to write a review on these transmission cables. I initially bought this transmission cable set because of the price. It was inexpensive. I figured if I couldn't figure out how to connect the cables from my old laptop to my new laptop, I wouldn't have much money. I have read the instructions several times. That seemed simple enough, but would it work for me. I'm in my 70's and not very computer savvy. I always talk to my son when I have problems with my laptop. But since my son lives outside of the city, I decided to use this transmission cable. So I connected the cables from my old laptop to my new one following the easy-to-follow instructions and started transferring a mega batch of photos from 100 folders. I just kept checking the laptops to make sure the process was working. And it was. I didn't have a problem. I have successfully transferred photos and documents. These cables worked perfectly. Don't be afraid to make a purchase.
