Housewares Holy Headache

I don't understand all the rave reviews for this product. Honestly. I'm not a skeptic by trade and generally try to stay away from negative reviews, but this one really caught me by surprise, so I want to warn others who might also be stuck in the same potential pickle as me. . The smell of this washing powder is not what I would call a "luxury" smell at all. It smells more like a bad pot of potpourri thrown from your grandmother's underwear drawer into a disgusting pot of soap and poured by the gallon into every crack and crevice in your house, haunting your dreams with an emphasis on baby powder-colored napkins. flower vomit. I used this as recommended - actually a little less. The suggestion is to use no more than 1/3 cup and I probably used 1/4, maybe less, for my sheets and WOOF. At no point in the next month will I be able to return to my normal life without persistent headaches/migraines. Not only does it now cover my sheets and seep up my nostrils as I sleep, but my tiny house fills up with the smell after a load of laundry as well. I even topped that load with a second load of my regular cleanser, which I would compare more closely to a "luxury" scent, and that's part of the price. Needless to say, it didn't help. TL; DR - don't buy this if you like your headache free life. And if you do, be careful and use a VERY small amount (maybe 1 tablespoon) the first time, unless you're just a masochist.
