I saw an ad for Sharper Image's 'weighted blankets'. I thought it would help me relax at night and get some sleep. The price there was around $250, so I went to Amazon. When I saw it I had to have it. The price was great. The box came with a hole but luckily it wasn't damaged. I have a 15 pound blanket and weigh 125 pounds. 5 feet 6 inches. That's a good size for me alone. It helps me feel more relaxed. My dog is already moving towards it. I don't know how to wash it, so I buy a cover for it. It reminds me of the lead vest the dentist puts on you for X-rays, but much softer. I will update my results. I may need to buy one for my 13 year old. He also has trouble relaxing at night. I would give him the same weight.
