Review on 🔵 Dritz Fine Water Erasable Marking: Vanish Marks with Precision by Jennifer Roberts

It's OK: Marking and tracking tools

I use a lot of transfer media for different products. Wet erase pens, heat erase pens/pencils, tailor's chalk, carbon paper, pressure stabilizer, you name it and I have and have used it. So I can give an experienced opinion. My old fine point was running dry so I decided to try this one. (All the markings were worn off from my old one and I couldn't remember what brand it was). Judging by the reviews, I had high hopes. In fact, it goes a little further than the middle of the street. On some thicker fabrics, e.g. B. unbleached muslin, it works well. It passes almost imperceptibly and slowly darkens. It tends to catch on the fabric, so keep your hand as light as possible. The thickness of the finished line is comparable to the thickness of an average ballpoint pen. Problems arise with cotton blends or lighter fabrics. The line thickens and bleeds. Especially if you walk slowly, like following a pattern. That makes it almost useless for the reason I bought it, thin lines. Make sure the water actually penetrates and flows through your fabric when you're done, trying to rub the stains will only result in a blue ring. around the original marks. I will definitely continue to use it on muslin, but will continue to look for it to use on cotton. Hope that helps!

Pros
  • Marking light fabric
Cons
  • Damaged
