I bought this for a US standard deep bath. I was hoping this bathroom piece would last 40 years so I wanted it to be high quality. I didn't like the plastic, although I didn't think it would last long, and to make matters worse the drain plug and decorative cover over the overflow drain are plastic, as is the plumbing. I just totally had a feeling it wouldn't work, they would break (especially the cork from constant foot pressure) and discolour. The plastic does not remain white, it yellows. So we settled with the pipes I already had with a few extras from Lowe's and I think that was probably a wise choice. I don't know why companies want to charge big bucks for "non-standard" parts for their jigs and then end up using junk plastic. Oh wait a minute.
