I gave this a 4 out of 5 just because of the slightly degraded picture. I have a film frame on my TV. But when I plugged it in, the picture was a little less clear. Not bad and very playable. I used it on a 14 inch VGA monitor. I also admit that the monitor isn't the best it could be. The monitor is ten years old and not as good as my 19" Sony. So take what you want. The only other flaw I could mention is that if you're not using an SVGA monitor and you press a button, to use it on SVGA can't see the image on the screen to go back to the resolution in VGA mode I couldn't find the reset button the only way to go back to the correct resolution was to follow the instructions and press a certain number of times to restore VGA resolution with no image on screen, just don't tell it to go to SVGA if you don't have it, you'll have trouble getting it back if you do can't remember the sequence you clicked to get there. can't explain, it should be done but just don't go beyond your screen resolution. It's well made and does exactly that what they announce. Overall I think it works well and doesn't cause any problems.
