This is the first magnetic USB cable/USB adapter I have ever used. This is also the first component to have a defective component. The small magnetic USB-C adapter (pictured) broke when attempting to remove it from the 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T510) using the included yellow plastic pry bar. During the 12 days of infrequent use of this piece of USB-C, there was no abuse or reckless use. While inserting adapters into computing devices is easy, often removing them is not easy at all. If you are considering buying/using this, I hope your use case is leaving the adapter in your computing device indefinitely as it is a weak point in their design. I believe moderate insertion/removal frequency will damage the adapter. If the build quality and design are improved I would increase the stars. I use the USB to Micro Adapter constantly and actively without removing it from my phone for more than 30 days without any problems.
