Not compatible with TRRS
I bought this to use with an IEM kit in a desktop headphone amp that requires a 1/4" jack. For that express purpose they work well "Both ends provide a reliable connection. The profile is rather low and doesn't stretch the base too much. Unfortunately, this adapter isn't compatible with TRRS. That means you can't use headphones when the built-in microphone is plugged in. Something is." grounded in the adapter and doesn't allow access to the right rings so now I'm looking for a true universal adapter TL;DR: Sounds great but isn't TRRS compatible.
